Research
Our research group thrives on tackling biological questions from unconventional angles. Rather than following traditional wet-lab pathways alone, we integrate tools from mathematics, computational modeling, and data science to uncover insights that might otherwise be overlooked. Whether it's using geometric and algebraic methods to explore the structural organization of the HIV-1 matrix or mining genomic databases to predict functions of uncharacterized sequences, we believe that fresh perspectives often lead to the most meaningful discoveries.

By bridging disciplines, we aim to challenge assumptions and expand the boundaries of what's considered possible in biology. Our approach is grounded in rigorous analysis but driven by curiosity - seeking answers in places where others might not think to look.
